How much does a bespoke suit cost in Barcelona?
A bespoke suit costs from €650 without cloth at Taller Costura Barcelona Cleo, a jacket alone from €280 and dress trousers from €150; the final quote depends on the design and finishing.
This is bespoke in the strict sense: the pattern is drafted from scratch on your measurements, not a standard block adjusted. That is why shoulders and back come out right, which is the one thing no alteration can fix well afterwards. The cloth is always provided by you; if you wish, we advise you on what to buy, such as Italian wools (Loro Piana, Cerruti, Zegna) or premium cottons. You also choose the details: lapels, buttons, lining and pockets.

What else do you make to measure?
Dresses, skirts, trousers, blouses, women’s suits and copies of an existing garment, from €120 for a skirt and from €400 for an evening dress, without fabric.
Usual lead times are 3 to 6 weeks depending on complexity and season. We also make everyday pieces that do not exist in shops in the wearer’s proportions: trousers for long legs and a narrow waist, pencil skirts that do not ride up, blouses that do not gape.

Bespoke vs. made-to-measure vs. off the peg altered: which should you choose?
Choose bespoke when your proportions are far from standard or you want a specific cloth and cut; made-to-measure (a standard block adjusted) when you want a good fit at a lower price; and off the peg plus alterations for a standard size and occasional use.

Frequently asked questions
Do you make suits for men?
Yes. Pattern drafted on your measurements, jacket, trousers and waistcoat, two or three fittings. Suit from €650 without cloth, 3–5 weeks.
And women’s suits?
Yes: jacket with trousers or skirt on a pattern drafted for you. The two-piece is quoted with no obligation after the measuring appointment.
Can I bring my own cloth?
Yes: the cloth is always provided by the customer. We just need to know the type and quantity before the first appointment, and if you wish we advise you on what to buy, such as Italian wools (Loro Piana, Cerruti, Zegna) or premium cottons.
Can you copy a garment I already own?
Yes, without unpicking it. We take the pattern from the original and make it in the fabric you choose. Quoted on sight, with no obligation.
How long does a made-to-measure dress take?
Usual lead times are 3 to 6 weeks depending on complexity and season, with two or three fittings. For an evening or wedding-guest dress we recommend coming 2 to 3 months ahead.
I only need my suit altered. Where do I look?
See clothing alterations: jacket sleeves and hems from €45, taking in a jacket from €18, trouser hem from €7.
