The beginner sewing course at Taller Costura Barcelona Cleo is taught in small groups of 2 students, Monday to Saturday, in a morning (8:00–13:00) or afternoon (16:00–21:00) slot, and is booked as packs of hours; the content adapts to each student’s pace.
It is designed for people who have never sewn or only know the very basics. Your day and time are assigned according to available places: message us with the slot you prefer and we will tell you what is free.
Syllabus (a guide, adapted to you): basic concepts and materials; hand sewing; using a sewing machine from scratch; basic machine techniques; basic alterations and simple transformations; practical projects. You finish with the foundations to use the machine safely and do basic alterations.
The sewing course is sold as packs of hours, in groups of 2 students: 5 hours cost €110, 10 hours €195, 15 hours €270 and 20 hours €340 (VAT not included).
Materials are not included; we advise you on what to buy. We also run a beginner pattern-making course Monday to Friday (morning or afternoon) and on Saturday mornings, with a maximum of 3 students, in packs of hours (5 h €100, 10 h €170, 15 h €230, 20 h €280; VAT and materials not included). You book your place on WhatsApp with €20, which is deducted from the pack you choose.

No, materials are not included in the pack price. We advise you on what to buy.
No: there are machines available at the workshop during classes. If you have one at home and prefer to learn on it, you can bring it.
With 24 hours’ notice, those hours stay in your pack to book another day. Without notice, or if you do not show up, the hours for that session are deducted from your pack.
Message us on WhatsApp with the slot that suits you, morning or afternoon, and we will tell you which days have a free place.
Workshop in Sants, close to Plaça de Sants metro (L1/L5) and Sants station. We serve customers from all over Barcelona and ship by courier to the rest of Spain.
